Welcome to the Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS web
site. The Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS, Inc.
is a professional
trade association for real estate licensees and an ancillary service
provider for the real estate industry. The long term Vision
of the
organization is to be "The REALTOR is at the center of all real
estate transactions"
and our Mission Statement is "to provide resources and information
and be an advocate for our members and the public."
Real Estate licensees and certified or licensed appraisers who are
Members of the Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS are REALTORS
and are authorized to use the term REALTOR and the REALTOR logo, which
are the registered trademarks of the National Association of REALTORS,
in conjunction with their real estate business.
The Southwestern Michigan Association of REALTORS provides a Multiple
Listing System (MLS) to their principal broker REALTOR Members through
the Real Estate Information System of Southwestern Michigan, Inc..
The MLS allows Member Offices to cooperate in the sale of each other's
listings and receive compensation for the cooperative sale.
